On Saturday, 26 September 2026, Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct in Logan will become a meeting place for music, food, culture, creativity and community.

Built around six things
Liberti Festival is built around six key pillars:

Each pillar offers a different way to experience the festival, creating a day that feels much bigger than a collection of performances.
Music across two stages
Music sits at the heart of Liberti Festival, bringing together international, national and local artists alongside DJs, live bands and cultural performers.
The festival will use both the Outdoor Main Stage and the Butterbox Theatre. The outdoor stage will carry the high-energy performances, DJs and live entertainment, while the Butterbox Theatre will create space for cultural showcases, workshops, community conversations and youth programming.
Across the day, the soundtrack will move through Afrobeats, hip-hop, Amapiano, reggae, soul, R&B, dancehall, jazz, Zouk, live bands and DJ sets.
Some moments will bring the whole crowd closer to the stage. Others will keep people moving across the precinct.

Food that carries culture
Food has always been one of the most memorable parts of a good festival.
At Liberti Festival, guests will be able to explore African, Pacific and international flavours from local food vendors. Each meal offers another way to experience the cultures being celebrated while supporting the businesses and entrepreneurs behind the food.
It may be a familiar dish that tastes like home or something completely new.

Workshops that invite you to take part
Liberti Festival is not designed to be experienced from the sidelines.
Its workshop programme creates opportunities for learning, cultural exchange and participation. The current festival programme includes plans for experiences connected to dance, drumming, storytelling, wellness, creativity and community.
These sessions give guests space to try something new, hear different stories and connect with culture in a more personal way.

Away from the stages, the Liberti Festival Market will bring together local businesses, artisans, cultural organisations and entrepreneurs from across Queensland.
Guests can expect to discover African and Pacific fashion, art, crafts, beauty products, cultural goods and community services. It is a chance to shop with intention while directly supporting small and culturally diverse businesses.
The market is not simply somewhere to pass time between performances.

Liberti Festival is an all-ages event designed to bring friends, families and different generations together.

That does not mean everyone has to enjoy the day in exactly the same way.
One person may spend most of their time near the stage. Another may move between the market, food vendors and workshops. Families can shape the day around what works for them.

Getting there is part of the easy plan
Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct is located close to Kingston Railway Station.
Your Liberti Festival ticket includes free travel across the Queensland Rail network to Kingston Station, followed by a short walk to the festival venue. Public parking will also be available nearby for guests who choose to drive.
That means less time worrying about transport and more time enjoying the day.
Keep your group together, plan your journey early and let the train bring you straight to the festival.
